Grads Form St. Jerome School Alumni Association
St. Jerome School is pleased to announce the founding of the St. Jerome School Alumni Association. Founding members are: Patrick Barrett '74, president; Ann Marie Downey '73, vice president; Carolyn Donahue '86, secretary; Noreen Anderson '81; Neil Donahue '86; Daniel Giannandrea '84; and John Hause '73. As stewards of St. Jerome's educational mission, their goals are to communicate the school's needs to its alma mater, and to help provide the financial support needed to sustain St. Jerome School for future generations of students.
Commenting on the founding of the Alumni Association, president Patrick Barrett stated, "Alumni appreciate and value their St. Jerome education; it provided the skills and faith to make our way in the world. We want to help strengthen the School and ensure that faith-based education remains accessible to all."
The Association will organize and sponsor a variety of annual Alumni activities and events. To get started, the SJS Alumni Association Board of Directors are planning a Fall 2002 Reunion. Board member, Ann Marie Downey '73 notes, "We'll be working this spring to update alumni addresses and recruit class agents to help kick-off the event. We welcome your ideas for the Reunion and your help locating classmates."
