A Full of Hope

Saint Jerome Parish Capital Campaign

Eight months ago, in September 2009, we embarked on a three-year capital campaign, A Future Full of Hope, with a goal of $1,000,000.

We are pleased to say we are at 57% of our goal with pledges just over $570,000.

Through analysis provided by our Building and Grounds Committee and input from parishioners in our parish planning study, we identified three projects as priorities.

The priorities include rejuvenating our worship space, reassigning our classroom space, and updating Saint Paula Hall.

With your support, we have started to move forward on these much needed improvements!

As part of the rejuvenation of our worship space, we created the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.  Parishioners can now visit this welcoming chapel for quiet prayer and reflection.  We hope you take some time to visit the chapel and see the changes!

To meet the needs of our growing parish family, we need to maximize our space in Saint Paula Hall and bring it up-to-date.

Whether it is a place for gatherings, Faith Formation meetings, or large social events, it is our goal to make Saint Paula Hall a welcoming place for parishioners to gather and celebrate.

By creating an 8th grade classroom on the third floor of Saint Jerome School, we were able to move the Kindergarten I classroom that was located in Saint Paula Hall to the school.  Now all Saint Jerome School students are within the school building and we are free to renovate the hall.

Since the hall has not been updated since its inception, we know we are faced with many challenges and major improvements.  It is our hope that, with your support, we can make this goal a reality!
